More than just a job

As part of our HR team, you’ll work on topics such as recruiting, compensation, and talent management. But that’s not all: thanks to your expertise, our teams can focus on supplying society with products like toys. Together, we support customers in the toy industry in getting their products onto the shelves of trusted retailers, bringing smiles to the faces of children (and not only children). Your work at Kühne+Nagel creates more joyful moments than you can imagine.

We are seeking a National HR Operations Specialist to join the HR team at Kuehne+Nagel in Milan. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting HR operations at national level, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement across processes. You will contribute to strategic HR initiatives, coordinate program management activities, and provide labor legislation insights to strengthen decision‑making and operational excellence.

How you create impact

  • Project Management– Support and coordinate diverse and dynamic HR projects, gaining hands-on experience in planning, execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • HR Data & Insights– Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to drive informed decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
  • Policy Development– Contribute to the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Supplier & Vendor Relations – Help manage relationships with external HR service providers, supporting contract oversight and service quality monitoring.
  • HR Administration – Assist in managing core HR administrative processes with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and continuous optimization.

What we would like you to bring

  • A degree in law, labour relations or a related field. A master's degree in HR is a plus.
  • At least two years of experience in a similar position or in a labor consultancy firm.
  • Knowledge or strong interest in HR operations, local labor legislation, and HR administrative processes.
  • A detail‑oriented, analytical, and collaborative mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluency in English and Italian.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with strong Excel skills appreciated.

What's in it for you

By joining the Kuehne+Nagel team, you will have the opportunity to work in a safe and stable environment, with a strong focus on physical and mental well-being. We offer professional growth and development opportunities, including at an international level.
