How you create impact

The Operational Care Center Specialist, Revenue Care is responsible for daily Forwarding Subledger (FSL) handling and ensuring gross profit (GP) is maximized. They are the expert in detection and correction of financial discrepancies, which is a top priority and clear expectation. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are the measurements from which we gauge success. Root cause analysis and engagement with stakeholders to implement corrective actions is fundamental to the role.

 

  • Manage daily FSL handling with the aim to ensure minimal deferrals at month end.
  • Review and resolve open shipment files with a focus on maximizing GP and identifying excessive profit/loss entries.
  • Investigate recurring discrepancies and escalate repeat issues to the supervisor for resolution.
  • Audit and correct inaccurate accruals; ensure future accruals are entered correctly and historical entries are free of duplication.
  • Enter missing accruals in FSL as needed to reflect the accurate financial state of each file.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on GP discrepancies to support improved auto-closing of FSL entries.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to meet GP targets and maintain financial integrity.
  • Demonstarate a strong understanding of FSL-related KPIs, applying consistent and measurable efforts to achieve performance goals.
  • Partner with system process teams to enhance automation and streamline Operational Care procedures.
