KLA is well known for its high-performing business model which routinely produces significant profit margins and revenue. Key to supporting KLA business is the finance team that partners with corporate and global business organizations to provide expertise and guidance for developing and executing sound business models and practices. The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team on the best course of action. The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support.
Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Part-time (50% FTE) 12 month contract FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT OPENING WITHIN OUR European Finance Team based in Kongens, Lyngby – Denmark.
We are seeking a reliable and detail focused FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT on a part-time (50% FTE) basis for a 12 month fixed contract to support our European Finance Team. The role is ideal for someone looking for flexible working hours while contributing to core finance and accounting activities.
- Location: Kongens, Lyngby
- Denmark (hybrid or on-site as applicable)
Working Hours: 50% FTE (approximately 18–20 hours per week)
Contract Type: Fixed-term 1 year
Department: Finance
Reports to: Finance Manager based in UK
Major Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of legally required reports set by including VAT return (monthly VAT return submission, accounting, reconciliation)
- Fixed Asset processing, reconciliation, physical count
- Assist with monthly/quarterly/annual close activities, balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis, support to close books on company’s timeline and quality standards
- General accounting: Journal preparation and posting, accruals, prepaids
- Assist with annual statutory financial statements
- Support statutory and internal audit
- Participation in cross-functional finance optimization projects
- Accounts Payable backup support for Shared Service Centre

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge Denmark GAAP, statutory reporting and filing
- US GAAP is a big plus
- SAP experience desirable
- MS Office skills especially Excel, Outlook

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Level Degree and work experience of 3-5 years in an accounting role in an international company
