Research
As a Senior Economics Analyst for Mexico you will be in charge of coordinating data collection and its analysis, developing and strengthening economic models, and working on research notes and studies to support management decisions and executive presentations of the Chief Mexico Economist. Additionally, you will advise on new research lines to prioritize economic analysis in the regional and global context. Finally, you will support the economics team in Mexico to advise relevant stakeholders on the Mexico Economic Outlook.
Job Responsibilities:
- Data collection and its analysis, synthesis, and translation of results into concrete solutions and risk scenarios.
- Coordinate the local team to maximize results, prioritize requests, and improve existing processes and controls.
- Develop and implement solutions to strengthen the quality of economic analysis according to new challenges and opportunities.
- Apply a critical eye in the evaluation of existing internal processes framework; challenge the status quo and recommend solutions.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Graduate economics degree required.
- 3-5 years economic and macro policy research experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for various stakeholders and senior management.
- Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze economic dynamics and translate through in-depth economic modelling.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deal with different stakeholder groups to elicit business requirements and processes.
- Ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible and follow tight deadlines.
Teamwork capabilities to maximize required tasks in a fresh and open environment. Be a team player who shows commitment and dedication on time-sensitive initiatives.
