As Vice President on the Asset Management Vendor Management Team, you will play a critical role in leading contract negotiations, conducting commercial reviews, and cultivating strong supplier relationships that drive meaningful value for our business. You will be responsible for negotiating supplier fees and rate cards to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms that support our strategic goals, while ensuring cost efficiency and maintaining exceptional service standards across our supplier portfolio. In this dynamic role, you will work closely with Asset Management stakeholders and collaborate with firmwide corporate functions, taking initiative or providing support as needed. Your expertise in assessing supplier capabilities, managing RFIs/RFPs, benchmarking, and analyzing supplier processes will fuel our ongoing success and innovation. As a member of a global team, you will thrive in a collaborative setting while enjoying the independence to lead projects, deliver impactful reports, and develop solutions that make a difference throughout the organization. Job responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers and affiliates to foster collaboration and long-term partnerships
- Lead contract and fee negotiations with suppliers, working closely with Legal, Compliance, and Data Privacy teams to secure favorable terms
- Conduct commercial reviews and analyze supplier landscape data to support business decision-making
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes, providing timely insights to keep the team agile and informed
- Manage supplier selection processes (RFI/RFP), onboarding qualified vendors for Asset Management and its funds
- Oversee outsourcing activities, including vendor onboarding, regulatory exams, audits, and compliance testing, in partnership with Global Supplier Services and regional control functions
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of outsourcing metrics and inventories, support governance frameworks, and conduct due diligence on service providers to assess risk
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Skilled in commercial and contract negotiations, project management, and constructively challenging suppliers with a strategic approach
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage global stakeholders and support stakeholder relationships
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numeracy skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Proactive, inquisitive, and results-driven; comfortable working with cross-border teams and clarifying roles and responsibilities
- Demonstrates strong leadership, inspires teams, influences senior stakeholders, and fosters a collaborative, improvement-focused culture
- Proficient in navigating data, technical platforms, and emerging technologies (including AI); skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Thrives in fast-paced environments, effectively managing multiple tasks, prioritizing, improving processes, and proactively managing risk and controls
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Background in financial services preferred; asset management experience is a plus
