As a Client Advisor in our Hong Kong Intermediary Business, you will play a pivotal role in driving our Asset Management growth through fintech, online, and digital distribution channels. You will engage with both established and emerging digital platforms (e.g., online brokerages, robo‑advisors, and digital wealth managers) to expand our reach and deliver innovative investment solutions—including Funds, ETFs, Model Portfolios, and Alternatives—to end clients. You will be at the forefront of digital transformation in asset management distribution, working with innovative partners and a dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify, acquire, and onboard new digital distributor and brokerage partners for our Funds and ETF business.
  • Build and nurture senior‑level relationships to secure product placement and drive business growth.

Client Relationship Management

  • Deepen and expand relationships with existing digital and brokerage platform clients through proactive engagement and tailored growth strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring high‑quality service and responsiveness.

Sales Ownership

  • Manage the entire sales pipeline—from prospecting and pitching to closing and scaling relationships—to achieve sales targets and KPIs.

Strategic Planning

  • Develop and execute client strategies that drive business growth across digital and brokerage channels.
  • Analyze industry and platform trends to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams (investment, product, risk, legal, operations, etc.) to deliver commercial outcomes, maintain service quality, and ensure robust risk controls.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to support strategic initiatives and achieve overall business objectives.

Market Intelligence

  • Stay abreast of developments in the fintech and digital distribution landscape, providing insights and recommendations to inform business strategy.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the financial industry, with a proven track record in sales and established client relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, particularly with digital distributors, brokerages, or fintech platforms.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, investment funds, and the Hong Kong intermediary / brokerage / digital distribution ecosystem.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results‑driven mindset with the ability to generate and execute new ideas.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills, both internally and externally.
  • Strong fiduciary mindset with a commitment to risk management and the highest ethical standards.
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese is essential.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • CFA designation is desirable but not mandatory.
