The Firmwide Control Management mission is to solidify an effective control framework within and across the lines of business by identifying and remediating control issues with a sense of urgency, regardless of the source. The Firmwide Control Management team will work collaboratively with other control disciplines and will oversee existing control functions as well as the development of new control functions and protocols. This process will enable the firm to engage the appropriate teams in a timely manner and provide the ability to quickly remediate critical control issues across all the impacted areas of the firm.

The Controls Room, a critical component of the Firmwide Control Management organization, functions as a controls reporting and analytics utility for the Firm. Its mission is to provide meaningful management information that will facilitate decision making.

The Associate will provide Program Management support to horizontal programs for Control Management

Job responsibilities

  • Engage with Firmwide Program teams to implement requirements across Control Management supported Programs
  • Drive global initiatives across Control Management Programs working with stakeholders across diverse teams / Line of Business
  • Oversee and management of key deliverables and operations through Roadmaps, scorecards etc. ensuring adherence to agreed timelines and SLAs
  • Implement change management with respect to Program requirements and influence stakeholders
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to identify and implement best practices

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Master’s degree
  • Overall 5+ years of experience including a minimum of 3 years of Program Management experience
  • Ability to handle multiple programs/projects at once is required
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both Technical and Business Partners
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across geographies and functions
  • Working knowledge of AGILE and JIRA
  • High acumen in Microsoft products: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Share Point, and MS Project
  • Must have analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quickly, adjust to changes and think outside the box
  • Good verbal/written and inter-personal skills. Positive attitude, self-motivated and confident

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Knowledge of Alteryx and Tableau
  • Experience with Operational Risk & Controls Management in the Banking industry i
