Seeking a dedicated Sales Support to provide service and support to Client Advisors and ensuring seamless client experience.
J.P. Morgan Asset Management ("JPMAM") provides investment management products and services to institutional and individual investors worldwide. It offers a complete spectrum of investment strategies - including Equity, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset to Alternatives such as Infrastructure, Private Equity, Real Estate and Hedge Funds. The Hong Kong Funds Business market investment products through intermediaries (for example Securities firms, Banks, Financial Advisors, Insurance companies) who, in turn, market these products to individual investors. Hong Kong Institutional Business market investment products to Asset Managers, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Pension, Endowments, Insurance companies and Central Banks in Hong Kong and Macau.

As a Sales Support for the Hong Kong team, you will be the primary contact for service-related needs and will provide support to Client Advisors. You will work with various product partners and operations to deliver a seamless and integrated experience to clients. You will be part of a dynamic team and to contribute to our mission of providing top-tier investment management products and services to institutional and team member investors worldwide.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support Client Advisors proactively in all aspects of sales efforts and relationship management as part of the Sales Support team.
  • Prepare and disseminate business, product, and market reports/analysis and ensure that the documents are accurate and cleared for external dissemination as part of Sales Support team activities.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other functional areas to handle client enquiries and Request for Information/Request for Proposal.
  • Assist in coordination and logistics for sales events, trainings, seminars and coordinate with internal parties for all related materials.
  • Maintain records and various logs for the sales team.
  • Apply a thorough understanding of internal procedures and control framework.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business or Finance or other related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of client services or sales support experience in Asset Management firms or Financial Institutions.
  • Excellent communications in English and Cantonese (both written and spoken).
  • Good working knowledge of Asset Management investment products and business nuances.
  • Strong analytical and organization skills to operate in fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills on servicing and ability to maintain and deepen relationships.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends, as required by event schedules.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • SFC and MPFA licenses are strongly preferred, candidates without these licenses should demonstrate a clear intention and eligibility to obtain them in the near term.
  • Knowledge in Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg and Salesforce would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communications in Mandarin is a plus.
