Third Party Oversight Delivery Manager, managing and overseeing supplier engagements in accordance with JPMC Policies and Third-Party Oversight Standards, including risk and performance monitoring, compliance with contract and regulatory requirements, coordination with internal stakeholders, maintenance of documentation and exit strategies, and ensuring up-to-date engagement information throughout the lifecycle.
As a Lead Technical Program Manager in the Infrastructure Platforms’ Cloud Foundations Strategic Delivery team, you will assist in the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reach business goals across the firm. Your strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that supplier engagements remain aligned to JPMC policies and standards. With advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will foster productive working relationships and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. This is a dynamic role and we’re looking for someone ready to take on that challenge.
Job responsibilities
- Execution of requirements set forth in the JPMC Global Supplier Management Policy and Third-Party Oversight Standards for the engagement
- Monitoring, management and escalation of supplier risks, controls, performance, complaints, compliance with contract terms (e.g. minimum control requirements, supplier Code of Conduct, supplier reporting obligations) and other areas of concern such as key personnel changes, changing laws, regulations or economic conditions. Production of quarterly scorecards and facilitation of quarterly business reviews.
- Fulfilment of local and regulatory requirements during supplier engagement lifecycles, including support of materiality assessments, governance forums, regulatory and outsourcing notifications, and audit/regulatory asks.
- Regular review and maintenance of JPMC exit strategies
- Partnering with JPMC Legal and Sourcing to enable country addendums, annexes, contract extensions etc. and to effectively discuss issues requiring legal or sourcing attention
- Partnering with other functions, including Technology Risk & Controls, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Teams, Location Governance and Third Party Oversight Team
- Maintain documentation supporting the TPO Delivery Manager activities performed on supplier engagements
- Ensure that supplier engagement information is kept up to date in JPMC’s vendor tools
- Effectively manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in third party oversight, vendor management or relevant domain area
- Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities
- Ability to foster effective cross-functional collaboration, build strong partnerships, demonstrate expertise in vendor management and compliance
- Exhibit strong problem solving, tenacity and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure (Azure) and / or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) at a high level, including familiarity with core AWS/Azure/GCP services and their primary functions
- Experience with the global regulatory landscape for cloud
- Previous experience with regulatory roll out and/or approval activities
- Show commitment to continuous learning and skill improvement
