As a Product Manager within our Investment Platform Product team, you will drive objectives and ensure consistent delivery across research, sustainable investing, stewardship, and proxy voting initiatives. You will define the product vision and strategy for sustainable investing, stewardship, and proxy voting, translate user needs into clear user stories and functional specifications, lead implementation across research, data, and platform teams, and drive post-release training, adoption, and change management while facilitating product cabinets and agile ceremonies. You will maintain and prioritize a transparent roadmap and backlog, develop prototype analytics in Python, SQL, or R to guide tech delivery, track and report KPIs on adoption and impact, partner with the CDO and ESG data vendors on global data strategy, research AI in asset management, and align stakeholders to deliver against milestones.
Job Responsibilities
- Define product vision and strategy for sustainable investing, stewardship, and proxy voting.
- Translate user needs into clear user stories and functional specifications.
- Lead implementation across research, data, and platform teams.
- Drive post-release training, adoption, and change management.
- Facilitate product cabinets and agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, retrospectives).
- Maintain and prioritize a transparent product roadmap and backlog.
- Develop prototype analytics in Python, SQL, or R and guide tech delivery.
- Track and report KPIs on product adoption and business impact.
- Partner with CDO and ESG data vendors to shape global data strategy and solutions.
- Conduct market and competitive research on AI in asset management.
- Align stakeholders, gather feedback, and ensure delivery against milestones.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- At least 8 years’ experience in financial services; wealth or asset management .
- Proven product management background with Agile practices and tools (e.g., Jira).
- Knowledge of investment products and end-to-end processes across asset classes.
- Strong problem-solving and complex decision-making in cross-functional settings.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and align on vision and roadmap.
- Demonstrated partnerships with business, operations, technology, and data vendors.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Domain knowledge of Stewardship and Proxy Voting.
- Familiarity with ESG and corporate governance data and providers (e.g., MSCI, Bloomberg, S&P Global).
- Hands-on analytics and data manipulation in Python, SQL, or R.
- Data analysis using Python or Alteryx; visualization with Tableau.
- Exposure to AI, including Generative AI and LLMs, in financial services.
