Responsibilities

This is a position for a dynamic, high performing, and motivated individual who can lead a team in delivering solutions for business stakeholders and support functions. The ideal candidate should be both strategic to help define vision and roadmap of various products as well as detailed-oriented and hands-on to lead project delivery. The nature of projects varies along with the needs of the business, technological change, and external factors such as regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Define and execute the vision and roadmap for shared platform services aligned with organizational goals.
    • Champion adoption of Generative AI and automation technologies across business units.
  • Generative AI & Automation
    • Identify and prioritize AI use cases; oversee design, development, and deployment.
    • Evaluate Agentic AI implementation opportunities and define key building blocks (e.g., orchestration, governance, integration) to enable successful deployment.   
    • Drive process automation initiatives using RPA tools such as Power Automate and UiPath.
  • Solution Delivery
    • Evaluate business needs and determine the most effective solution approach (buy, build, leverage or customize).
    • Lead implementation of enterprise solutions in Power Apps to streamline workflows and improve user experience.
    • Ensure robust governance, security, and compliance across all shared services.
  • Program & Stakeholder Management
    • Oversee end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
    • Act as chair for working groups; communicate status, risks, and dependencies to senior stakeholders.
    • Manage resource allocation and resolve conflicts across competing priorities.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Implement and maintain fleet-wide shared services, ensuring scalability and reliability.
    • Monitor performance post-implementation and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • University degree in business, finance, technology, or related disciplines.
  • 10–15 years of experience in project management, product development, technology consulting, or similar roles; experience in developing internal enterprise software solutions or client-facing applications.
  • 3–5 years of experience managing a team.
  • Proven track record in implementing Generative AI solutions and RPA tools (Power Automate, UiPath).
  • Hands-on experience working with different Large Language Models (LLMs) and practical exposure to Agentic AI frameworks or implementations.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • A firm understanding of the banking industry, risk management disciplines, and major regulatory themes.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, take ownership, establish structure around unfocused issues, and drive consensus to solve problems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex topics, build relationships, and influence and manage stakeholders.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring team members and taking an active role in their career development.
  • Experience in Agile development practice, Design Thinking, or User-Centered Design is desired.
  • Experience in Retail, Private Banking, or Wealth Management is an advantage.
  • Good command of Chinese (including Putonghua) is an advantage.
