As a Technical Project Manager III in commercial and Investment Banking Markets, you will help lead complex technology projects and programs that drive business goals and create value for clients, employees, and stakeholders. Applying a broad knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential to developing innovative solutions, along with leveraging analytical reasoning and adaptability skills to navigate through ambiguity and change. Your strong communication abilities will enable you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment on project objectives and governance. By optimizing resources and managing risks, you will contribute to the successful delivery of high-impact projects that shape the future of the firm.
Job responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology projects

Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals

Utilize technical fluency to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendor products for project implementation

Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle
Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of project/program management
-
Demonstrated proficiency in financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and benefits tracking
-
Proven experience coordinating DR/BCP testing, environment/capacity work, and lifecycle refresh efforts
-
Strong communication and stakeholder management; comfortable preparing executive‑level summaries and facilitating cross‑team forums
-
Proficient with portfolio/financial dashboards and productivity tools; strong attention to detail and data quality
-
Analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate risks, propose options, and drive follow‑through
Preferred Qualifications, capabilities, and skills
-
Familiarity with front‑office trading windows and change risk considerations
-
Knowledge of operational resilience concepts and audit/regulatory expectations for technology
-
Exposure to cloud financial management practices (e.g., showback/rightsizing)
-
Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, SAFe, or Fin Ops are beneficial
-
Experience contributing to business cases and TCO analyses
-
Experience supporting infrastructure or platform initiatives in a large organization; financial services or markets exposure
