Insurance Servicing Specialist – Team Member is a pivotal role within our Insurance group. Job Summary
Join our Insurance team as an Insurance Servicing Specialist, where you’ll be responsible for carrying out assigned insurance servicing tasks while adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Your role may involve any combination of processes, including monitoring policy expirations, managing renewals, ordering determinations for real estate properties, handling flood, SBA, and general insurance requirements, issuing compliance for non-flood zones, and tracking high-grade loans and grade movements. This position provides a valuable opportunity to develop your skills and contribute significantly to our risk management and compliance operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Consistently meet established Quality & Quantity targets for insurance servicing activities.
- Ensure full compliance with process-related policies, guidelines, and controls.
- Complete all insurance servicing transactions within the SLA on the same day.
- Promptly follow up with upstream & downstream partners for any missing notifications or documentation.
- Pay close attention to detail to ensure accurate processing of all insurance documents and determinations.
- Identify process changes to enhance productivity and efficiency in insurance operations.
- Monitor policy expirations and manage timely renewals to ensure continuous coverage.
- Order and validate insurance determinations for real estate properties.
- Issue compliance notices for non-flood zones and track compliance for high-grade loans.
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities
- Willingness to work night shifts (North America Shift).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Insurance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 6 months of experience in the Financial Services or Insurance industry with a proven track record of delivery.
- Understanding of insurance policies, compliance requirements, and real estate loan operations.
- Strong research, analytical, and comprehension skills for analyzing large data sets.
- Ability to manage clients effectively, build partnerships, and engage with multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills to meet business objectives.
- Strong communication skills (both written & verbal) with the ability to work independently on multiple assignments.
