Johnson & Johnson, Inc. is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) – Med Tech Group Finance, FP&A. The Senior Finance Analyst reports to the Finance Manager, Med Tech Group Finance, FP&A. This position is located in New Brunswick, NJ.

The Med Tech Group Finance FP&A Team is an integral part of the Med Tech organization with direct reporting to the Med Tech CFO. It is responsible for supporting the businesses in delivering their financial commitments, the need to challenge data in order to provide leadership with actionable insights, develop analytics that drive the optimal allocation of resources, for driving the compliant reporting of actual and forecast financials, for ensuring a fair, independent and accurate view of business performance. In addition, the Group leads and/or facilitates Med Tech-wide initiatives such as Target Setting and various strategic projects that help achieve the Sector’s commitments.
Responsibilities:
Based in New Brunswick, this role reports to the Manager Med Tech Group Finance, FP&A and its key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Partnering with Med Tech Group Finance and Operating Companies on framing, analyzing and presenting worldwide results to Group CFO, GOC, and EC with emphasis on PNL.
- Preparing, analyzing, and publishing financial reporting packages for the Executive Committee and Med Tech Leadership Team including quarterly financial results, forecast updates, meetings decks / analyses and financial scorecards.
- Consolidating Med Tech reported financial data using the existing system and news systems being implemented as part of Signi Fi transformation.
- Ensuring reasonableness and accuracy of financial data reported to Corporate through existing and new systems and managing the coordination and documentation of quarterly SOX controls.
- Consolidate, report, and analyze financial forecasts, latest thinking, and actuals for the Med Tech group and ensure all submissions are timely and accurate; proactively investigate significant variances to ensure Sarbanes Oxley compliance of quarterly actual results.
- Establish and maintain strong business partnerships and cross-functional relationships to support financial processes; live into implementation of Signi Fi and support Med Tech integration.
- Addressing ad-hoc requests & projects.
This position provides an outstanding opportunity for the self-starter to get involved in strategic projects with significant exposure to the VP of Med Tech Group Finance and to the Med Tech Group CFO. This role is part of a dynamic team that interacts frequently with Regional FP&A organizations, WW Consolidations, and others.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance.
- A CPA, CMA, or MBA are also preferred.
- A minimum of 3 three years’ finance or related business experience is required.
- This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong intellectual curiosity, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- The individual must possess the ability to partner with people at all levels of the organization, have excellent framing skills (verbal/written), and strive for continuous improvement.
- The ability to work well in a dynamic environment, work independently and balance tasks with a strong sense of urgency through effective prioritization is required.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of analytics software preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (i.e. Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUP functions).
- The ability to create and deliver PowerPoint presentations to various levels of the organization, including leadership, is required.
- The role will be based in New Brunswick, NJ and may require up to 10% travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$79,000.00 - $127,650.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
