• We are searching for the best talent for a System Engineer
• Test & Calibration Systems role, to join our team located in Yokneam, Israel.

Purpose: The System Engineer (SE) is responsible for R&D activities for Test & Calibration systems — providing technical leadership, system-level design, project coordination, and quality oversight. The SE translates the needs into system-level requirements and technical attributes, drives the system architecture, and leads system integration, verification and validation.

Responsibilities include applying system engineering principles and mathematical analysis, and supporting investigation activities that require R&D expertise related to field failures and field issues.

You will be responsible for:

• Lead development of Test & Calibration systems for company products.

• Plan and execute all system engineering deliverables for Test & Calibration systems development (requirements, architecture, top-level design, verification/validation).

• Technical authority for Test & Calibration solutions in the company

• Responsible for the quality of the systems developed, in terms of functionality, performance and compliance with costumer needs.

• Define and write system and sub-system requirements, functional definitions and performance specifications.

• Develop and own the system architecture and top-level design.

• Collaborate with sub-contractors to ensure designs satisfy system requirements.

• Act as technical lead for projects, identifying technical risks, proposing mitigations and ensuring adherence to schedules and quality requirements.

• Responsible for continuous improvement for the Test & Calibration systems

Qualifications and Requirements:

• BSc or higher in Electrical Eng. / Physics / Mechanical Eng. / Computer Science / other Eng. field with relevant experience

• MSc in System Engineering as an advantage

• At least 3 years of R&D experience as Hardware Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Software Engineer / Physicist

• At least one year of experience as a System Engineer

• An experience in a medical device company is an advantage
