Job Description:

Senior Executive Assistant to International President & APAC Vice President, De Puy Synthes

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as De Puy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of De Puy Synthes and your employment would be governed by De Puy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by De Puy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

The Executive Assistant provides comprehensive, high-level secretarial and administrative support to assigned senior leaders. This role encompasses complex calendar and travel management, coordination of executive‑level meetings and events, preparation of business materials, and collaboration across multiple senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Executive & Administrative Support:

  • Deliver full-spectrum secretarial and administrative support to assigned leaders.

  • Manage complex travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, visas, visa letters, and ground transportation.

  • Coordinate local and overseas meetings, including teleconferences.

  • Prepare, submit, and track Concur expense claims.

  • Support procurement and administrative processes through Ariba and other internal systems.

  • Prepare, consolidate, and organize presentation decks and meeting materials.

  • Oversee calendar management for designated senior leaders, ensuring prioritization and alignment.

Office & Event Coordination:

  • Perform shared administrative duties, including managing office supplies.

  • Support corporate events such as town halls, POA meetings, and external association engagements.

  • Facilitate hospitality for internal and external visitors.

Onboarding & Offboarding Support:

  • Facilitate hospitality for internal and external visitors.

General & Ad-hoc Support:

  • Facilitate hospitality for internal and external visitors.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of secretarial experience in MNC environment.

  • At least 8 years of experience supporting senior leaders.

  • Strong ability to support multiple senior stakeholders within a diverse, multicultural environment.

  • Highly resourceful with proven capability to multitask effectively.

  • Able to work independently while also demonstrating strong teamwork.

  • Demonstrates enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and professionalism.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; pleasant and approachable.
