What will you do?

Johnson Controls is seeking a talented and motivated Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team to manage the B2B Commerce salesforce portal. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Salesforce development and a proven ability to create scalable and maintainable solutions on the Salesforce platform.

This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to meet business requirements and deliver high-quality Salesforce applications.

How will you do it?

  • Develop and implement robust Salesforce applications and solutions tailored to business needs.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and other stakeholders to gather and define requirements.

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Apex, Visualforce, Aura, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies.

  • Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices. Integrate

  • Salesforce with third-party applications and services using REST/SOAP APIs.

  • Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and performance of developed solutions.

  • Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications, addressing any issues or enhancements as needed.

  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and new features, providing recommendations for improvements and enhancements.

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce development, including experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce. Experienced in creating and managing Experience Cloud Sites.

  • Extensive experience in building webpages in VF Pages, Aura, LWC, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce objects, data models, and security features.
