What This Job Involves

This role focuses on optimizing the performance and utilization of JLL’s Lease Abstraction Enterprise Platform (LEAP) — a business platform that elevates lease abstraction, through detailed analysis, process design, and stakeholder collaboration. LEAP combines standardized processes, expert talent, advanced technology, and alignment with JLL’s enterprise data strategy to create a scalable service foundation that enables business lines to focus on high-value client activities while ensuring consistent, reliable lease data across the organization.

You will serve as the analytical engine driving continuous improvement, translating complex business challenges into actionable solutions that enhance platform efficiency and user experience. Your work involves deep-diving into lease abstraction workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and designing streamlined processes that maximize platform value. You'll operate at the intersection of business operations and technology, ensuring requirements are clearly articulated, validated, and aligned with strategic objectives. This position requires strong analytical rigor combined with excellent communication skills to facilitate productive dialogue between diverse stakeholders.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

• Conduct stakeholder discussion and workshops to gather and document detailed business requirements for platform enhancements

• Analyze current lease abstraction workflows using process mapping tools to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks

• Review platform performance data and user feedback to prioritize improvement opportunities

• Investigate and troubleshoot operational issues impacting platform functionality or user experience

• Facilitate collaborative sessions between business units, technical teams, and vendors to align on solutions

• Create detailed requirement specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams

• Validate that implemented features meet business requirements through testing and user acceptance coordination

• Develop process documentation, standard operating procedures, and workflow diagrams

• Generate reports and dashboards analyzing process performance metrics and platform utilization trends

• Support change management efforts by creating training materials and conducting user education sessions

• Monitor compliance with governance standards and regulatory requirements across platform processes

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives

• Track and communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field

• 6-7 years of business analysis experience, preferably in commercial real estate, lease administration, or Prop Tech environments

• Strong understanding of commercial lease structures, terms, and abstraction processes

• Proven experience gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements using structured methodologies

• Proficiency in process analysis and optimization techniques including process mapping and workflow design

• Experience facilitating workshops and requirements sessions with diverse stakeholder groups

• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Experience with business analysis documentation tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar platforms

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with AI/OCR tools such as Dealsumm or similar intelligent document processing solutions

• Familiarity with BPM workflow tools like Mendix.

Preferred Qualifications

• Business analysis certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA

• Experience specifically with lease abstraction platforms or document processing technologies

• Background in lease administration operations with hands-on knowledge of abstraction workflows

• Experience working in Agile environments with knowledge of user story creation and backlog management

• Familiarity with AI/OCR tools such as Dealsumm or similar intelligent document processing solutions

• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms

• Knowledge of system integration concepts including APIs and data flow architectures

• Previous experience working within JLL or similar global real estate services organizations

• Experience developing training materials and conducting end-user training sessions

• Familiarity with change management methodologies and frameworks
