What this job involves:
As a Financial Analyst at JLL, you will consolidate and analyze financial data including budgets and income statement forecasts while taking into account company goals and financial standing to assemble and summarize data for sophisticated reports on financial status and risks. This comprehensive financial analysis role combines data consolidation with strategic reporting, requiring you to reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data, support month close processes through posting reclass and accrual journals while sharing variance commentaries for actual spend, and drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function. You will play a crucial role in JLL's commitment to financial excellence by identifying financial status through comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts, maintaining databases by entering, verifying, and backing up data, and recommending actions by analyzing and interpreting data while making comparative analyses to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
What your day-to-day will look like:

Consolidate and analyze financial data including budgets and income statement forecasts while considering company goals and financial standing

Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks for comprehensive financial analysis
-
Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data while ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
-
Support month close process through posting reclass and accrual journals while sharing variance commentaries for actual spend analysis
-
Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function while enhancing operational efficiency
-
Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts for strategic insight generation
-
Maintain databases by entering, verifying, and backing up data while ensuring data integrity and accessibility
-
Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses for informed decision-making support.
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in finance, business analytics or related business field with minimum of 5-8 years' experience in similar position
-
Strong understanding of business finance and analytics with ability to consolidate and analyze complex financial data
-
Great interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, for effective collaboration and reporting
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify financial trends and recommend strategic actions
-
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel for comprehensive financial analysis and data management
-
Experience with month close processes including posting reclass and accrual journals and variance analysis
-
Understanding of financial reporting requirements including budgets, income statement forecasts, and risk assessment
-
Ability to reconcile transactions and maintain accurate financial records with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with process improvement and policy development initiatives in financial operations
-
Knowledge of database management including data entry, verification, and backup procedures
-
Understanding of comparative analysis techniques and financial forecasting methodologies
-
Background in financial status identification through actual vs. planned results analysis
-
Familiarity with sophisticated financial reporting and risk assessment documentation

Experience with variance commentary development and actual spend analysis
-
Knowledge of business finance best practices and analytics in commercial real estate environment
-
Understanding of financial data interpretation and strategic recommendation development.
