We are seeking Medical Laboratory Assistant 1 to join IQVIA Laboratories at Valencia, CA.

Job Summary:

This role supports routine laboratory operations by preparing materials, managing specimen workflows, and assisting senior staff with daily procedures to maintain efficient and compliant lab activities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide administrative and technical support across laboratory operations
• Clean, sterilize, and organize glassware, supplies, and work areas
• Prepare, label, and manage tubes, specimens, and post‑analysis storage
• Assist with routine equipment maintenance and basic buffer preparation
• Support inventory management and general lab organization

What We Are Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of laboratory practices, equipment, and terminology
• Knowledge of lab safety, infection control, and hazardous materials handling
• Ability to follow sterilization and decontamination procedures
  Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:

• Strong attention to detail and adherence to workflow processes
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues and support team operations
• Basic computer and documentation skills
  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $24,400.00 - $50,900.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
