Job Description Summary
This position supports IQVIA’s new Med Tech business intelligence tool that gives insights into the orthopedic market at a procedure level. The role is responsible for supporting, scaling, and enhancing the product and being the lead consultant for client support.
IQVIA is looking for a Sr. Consultant in the Med Tech domain. This role will be collaborating with a team of product owners, associate directors, product offering managers, and client service professionals on a data delivery team. This position will work between internal teams and clients to ensure successful implementation, understanding, and usage of the product.
This role will also oversee a small team responsible for other newly launched offerings ensuring operational continuity. The position will lead through direct team meetings, 1:1s, ad hoc support, and ensuring project oversight for new initiatives. The individual will drive cross-functional initiatives that span client success, product delivery, and internal process optimization, including development and refinement of new SOPs and workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and support clients on a platform for procedure level data & market growth
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand their needs and gather requirements
- Provide recommendations to clients on approaches to derive data insights
- Collaborate with internal teams to support the creation and enhancements surrounding a new product(s)
- Assist in the QC process and sign off before new data and enhancements are pushed to the production environment.
- Draft and distribute quarterly product information bulletins informing clients of changes/updates to the data and tool itself.
- Create, evaluate, and manage documentation between clients and IQVIA to align on requirements and expectations for successful platform usage
- Train clients on platform usage—including assisting in developing clear & effective client training materials
- Track and maintain reports on client usage of platform.
- Manage offshore resources in the development of insights presentation by holding meetings, establishing a feedback loop, and ensuring a robust QC process onshore before decks are ready for client distribution.
- Manage process flows and workstreams
- Work towards the highest standards of client service & engagement management best practices
- Provide subject matter expertise to client stakeholders and internal IQVIA team regarding data & platform usage
- Serve as the escalation point for unresolved data issues, work with client data managers & internal team members for resolution
- Establish strong communications with internal team, client contacts, and all other stakeholders
- Proactively continue to strengthen subject matter expertise through on the job experience
- Openness to learning about innovative technologies and acquiring new skills
- Manage a team of client service professionals, providing direction and guidance and developmental opportunities.
- Ensure team oversight for new and cross-functional initiatives to develop and scale new processes as offerings grow and expand.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of related experience in consulting and/or life sciences industry Req; experience in Med Tech area preferred
- Prior management experience preferred
- Possesses solid project management skills and client influencing and relationship building skills.
- Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.
- Experienced with developing consultative relationships with senior level managers and executives at clients in the life science industry.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques related to functional area.
- Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the life science industry.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and client influencing skills.
- Has necessary subject matter expertise to effectively manage projects within a given Center of Excellence

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $95,300.00 - $237,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
