Job Overview
Responsible for delivery of complex consulting engagements, ensuring excellence in methodology, execution, and client satisfaction. The Associate Principal will contribute to business development through cultivating client relationships and identifying new opportunities. Furthermore, the position includes responsibility for daily team coordination in partnership with the team leader and the direct oversight of assigned consultants.
Role & Responsibilities:
Leads teams in the design, development and delivery of consulting projects or components of larger, complex projects.
Reviews and analyses client requirements or problems and leads team in the development of proposals of cost-effective solutions that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction.
Provides direction and guidance to Consultants, Senior Consultants and Managers where relevant, to Statistical Services assigned to the engagement.
Guides team to perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client specific solutions.
Designs, structures and guides team to deliver client reports and presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience.
Recommends improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems.
Builds long-term relationships with clients, identifies new business opportunities of follow-on work and new leads at assigned client.
Proactively develops broader and deeper knowledge of related consulting methodologies and pharma market through on-the-job experience and participation in training opportunities.
Represents IQVIA on internal and external (client) events, demonstrate strong understanding of IQVIA frameworks and methodologies.
Skills & Qualifications
Master's Degree (Business Administration – Preferable)
8-10 years of related experience in consulting and/or pharmaceutical industry
Possesses solid project management skills and client influencing and relationship building skills.
Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.
Experienced with developing consultative relationships with senior level managers and executives at clients in the pharmaceutical industry.
Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines.
Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques related to functional area or knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical industry

Excellent presentation, communication, and client influencing skills.
