Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Sales Engineer with strong technical expertise in industrial vacuum pump systems to drive business growth, build strategic customer relationships, and support end‑to‑end sales activities. The ideal candidate will identify customer needs, deliver tailored vacuum solutions, manage key accounts, and collaborate with OEMs and end‑users across diverse industries. This role requires strong technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in industrial equipment sales.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth for vacuum pump products across assigned regions

(Tamil Nadu / Gujarat) and industries.

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strong relationships with OEMs, end‑users, and channel partners.

  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vacuum pump solutions.

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations.

  • Handle the complete sales cycle including enquiries, negotiations, order finalization, and follow‑ups.

  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and maintain an updated sales pipeline.

  • Support after‑sales activities in coordination with service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Work closely with internal teams for pricing, technical support, and project execution.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, visits, and sales activity.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in any Engineering stream or related technical field.

  • 10+ years of experience in industrial equipment sales, preferably vacuum pumps or related technologies.

  • Strong technical understanding of vacuum systems and industrial applications.

  • Proven track record in B2B sales and customer relationship management.

  • Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to travel frequently for customer visits and business development activities.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

flexible working, hybrid, 50% travel across Tamil Nadu /Gujarat.
