The Senior Data and Reporting Professional Role is part of the Humana Medicaid Provider Network Build Team. You will report to the Medicaid Data Management Lead and support the work of Local Market Contracting Teams in multiple states, Provider Process and Network Operations (PPNO), Humana Business Development, among others. You will be a critical part of ensuring that Humana has reliable data and provider networks in all Medicaid markets.The Senior Data and Reporting Professional generates ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. The Senior Data and Reporting Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
The Senior Data and Reporting Professional integrates data from multiple sources to produce reports such as: provider contracting target lists, network adequacy modelling, network gap analysis, and provider network load audits.
You will create and maintain requested report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources. Expected to identify creative solutions to reporting barriers and may create specifications for reports based on business requests. Begin to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and performs work often without direction. Exercise considerable latitude in determining goals and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 or more years of technical experience in data reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including ability to link pivots to external data sources, creating pivot tables and summarizing data into reports and dashboards
- Experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations and/or the analysis of healthcare data
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Quickbase, Power BI, SQL, SAS and other data systems
- Experience with healthcare network data, network adequacy tools (e.g. Quest Analytics)
- Experience in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$73,400 - $100,100 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
