YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Relevant academic, internship, project or professional experience in hardware engineering or related fields

WE VALUE

  • Degree in Electrical, Hardware Engineering or related field
  • Familiarity with a variety of hardware engineering principles, methodologies and specifications
  • Experience in Aerospace, Avionics, Radar, RF or related is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • A passion for aerospace technology and commitment to continuous learning.

As a Hardware Engineer I within Honeywell's Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CN&S) group, you will contribute to the development and advancement of Honeywell's Next-Generation of Aircraft Weather Radar Technologies by supporting design, testing and validating products & processes from prototype to market, with a focus on quality, roll-throughput yield, aftermarket, and production support.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make an impact on the development and delivery of cutting-edge Airborne 3D Radar Technologies, contributing to shaping the future of safety and efficiency of air travel.

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop, test and validate hardware components for next-generation aircraft weather radar systems.
  • Execute project subtasks (Designing, Testing, etc) and follow methodologies that push forward new concepts or refine existing concepts
  • Refine engineering designs by drafting and releasing drawing changes in Team Center.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and diagnose product performance issues.
  • Assist in product and process certification for customer acceptance
  • Collaborate with obsolescence team in identifying and qualifying alternate part, keeping our products at the cutting edge of technology.
  • Communicate any non-compliance incidents and results of internal project audits to stakeholders
