Job Description:

Work in a global team as an Individual contributor with significant responsibilities and ownership of electronic and electrical design. The responsibilities include schematic design and development, component selection, error budgeting, building proto and verifying, testing. Will be working along with various teams such as simulation, drafting, ECAD, evaluation, manufacturing, marketing, . Additional responsibilities include technical report generation, documentation and progress reporting. It is also expected that the candidate would develop technical expertise in selected product line and develop proposals/growth ideas & work for improving the product line.

Responsibilities

Job Expectation :

  • Experience in PCB schematics & layout design tools (**Mentor Expedition). **

  • Schematics Design & Capture

  • BOM Scrubbing (Lifecycle Check, Library Availability Check & NPR request for Not available part in EDM)

  • Design multi-layered PCBs (Component Placement, Routing, Split plane, DRC cleanup, Silkscreen & assembly Cleanup) as per IPC Standards applicable and Design for manufacturability (DFM)

  • Post processing-PCB Gerbers PCBA Drawings and BOM Generation.

  • Alternate component identifications and verification as required.

  • Must have executed multiple mixed signal layout projects from concept through production

  • Good Knowledge of High speed designs, EMI and EMC guidelines

  • Good Knowledge of PDM, PLM

  • Ability to run DFM check’s using Valor , Capable of Performing Checking .

  • Good Knowledge of RF designs and concepts, Signal integrity analysis,

  • Good Knowledge of Agency approvals like UL, CE etc…

  • Good knowledge of Advanced technologies of Signal boards and Power Supply boards.

  • Experience in material handling products preferred.

  • Good fundamental knowledge in electrical, analog, digital and power electronics engineering

  • Good Knowledge to design circuits with  8, 16 & 32 bit micro-controller interfacing and Analog to Digital data conversion, designing with opamps, transistors, MOSFET, linear and switching regulators

  • Support on Component obsolesce and suggesting alternate components

  • Experience in basic circuit simulation using PSPICE/SABER and Analog Filter Design /Power supply Design using switcher pro, thermal and reliability analysis and error budgeting etc.

  • with Digital Oscilloscopes/ Network Analyzers/ Emulators/ Debuggers/ Function Generators, Pulse Generators, etc

  • Knowledge of Design for manufacturability, assembly & testing expertise.

  • Conceptualize the product and translate the requirements into CTQs for design

  • Predict and quantify technical risks in the project.

  • Demonstration of usage of six sigma tools in projects is essential

  • GB certification preferred

  • Having cross functional expertise is an added advantage.
