As Procurement Buyer I here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in driving the procurement strategy and initiatives to achieve cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure supply chain continuity. Your expertise in procurement and supply chain management will be instrumental in driving business growth and performance.

You will report directly to our Procurement Manager, and you will work out of our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the company by driving cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing supplier relationships, and implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver on customer needs

• Conduct competitive bids

• Identify cost reduction opportunities

• Review and monitor purchase requisitions

• Manage supplier communication

• Ensure compliance with strategic procurement

YOU MUST HAVE

• 1+ years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain experience
• 1+ years of experience with SAP purchasing system
• Fluency in speaking, reading and writing English

• Cost and Pricing Analysis experience
• Strong communication skills and a team player
• Good organizational - ability to prioritize.
• Knowledge and experience using Lean Six Sigma tools and problem solving.
• Good technical knowledge of Procurement/sourcing
• Knowledge and experience using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
