The BMS/ELV Site Manager an experienced and dynamic to oversee the implementation and management of Building Management Systems (BMS) and light current systems for mega construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects. Fluency in English and French language.

Qualifications/ Experience/ Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• 4-7 years total experience in project management, technical coordination and consraction MEP mega projects, focus in BMS, FAS, ACS, CCTV and ELV.

• MBA, PMP, PRINCE2, and/or similar project management certification is a must.

• Fluency in English and French is required.

• Proficient in project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD) and other relevant applications.

• Demonstrated experience in safety and safety management on large commercial and infrastructure projects

• Demonstrated project experience involving the integration of multiple technologies preferably in

technology systems for applications such as correctional facilities, building management technology, information technology or network solutions

• Capacity to deliver against multiple and competing objectives.

• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

• Demonstrable customer relation skills

• Proven commercial/contractual acumen

• Excellent computer, written and oral communication and negotiation skills.

• Able to work cooperatively and provide technical direction in a team environment

02 Act as the primary point of contact for all technical interface matters related to BMS and light current systems, ensuring effective communication between internal teams and external partners.

03 This role ensures seamless integration and communication across all technical functions, facilitating the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

04 Developing trust and managing the relationship with customers and ensuring a shared understanding of key issues between all parties is maintained, maintain customer relationships at the appropriate project management level

05 Manage and coordinate technical interfaces across multiple disciplines and project phases, specifically focusing on BMS and light current systems.

06 Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and technical requirements for BMS and light current systems.

07 Monitor and track interface-related activities and issues, providing regular updates to project stakeholders.

08 Identify and mitigate risks related to technical interfaces of BMS and light current systems.

09 Facilitate technical discussions, reviews, and approvals to resolve interface issues.

10 Work closely with engineering teams to verify and validate technical interface designs and solutions for BMS and light current systems.

11 Provide technical input on all VO’s and contractual claims ensuring that the construction-related substantiation in notifications and follow-up is clearly defined, accurate and demonstrable.

12 Follow up and track all Retention and Defects Liability Period punch-lists/snags to ensure close out of work packages and release of retention monies.

13 Direct the day to day operations of the project teams.

14 Define all subcontract /supply requirements and work with Supply Chain to ensure all subcontractor/supplier contracts and orders are appropriate for the project from a scope/cost and risk viewpoint. Lead or participate in negotiations as necessary
