Honeywell Aerospace & Defense is executing a multi-wave SAP S/4HANA transformation to modernize its global ERP backbone across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and customer operations.
We are seeking a SAP S/4 Functional Configuration Delivery Manager to drive global template design, end-to-end configuration governance, and integrated process delivery across Order to Cash, Finance, Supply Chain, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report domains.
This is a senior functional leadership role responsible for solution design authority, configuration quality, and cross-process integration in a highly regulated, complex manufacturing environment.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10+ years SAP functional experience.
- 3+ full lifecycle SAP implementations (minimum 1 S/4HANA).
- 5+ years leading functional workstreams or global teams.

- Aerospace & Defense or complex manufacturing industry experience.
- Experience in enterprise carve-outs or divestitures.
- Central Finance exposure.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori role-based UX configuration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead end-to-end SAP S/4 functional design and configuration across global deployments.
- Facilitate business design workshops and define scalable global process templates.
- Enforce clean-core principles and minimize custom configuration.
- Ensure cross-module integration and enterprise harmonization.
- Serve as functional design authority across multi-wave S/4 releases.
Core Process Domains
Order to Cash (OTC)

Configure and optimize:

Sales order processing

Advanced pricing and rebates

Credit management
-
Intercompany processing
-
Revenue recognition integration
-
Enable integration with AEM Portal for customer visibility (orders, invoices, contract data).

Support program-based and milestone billing structures.
Supply Chain
-
Lead configuration for:

Demand planning integration
-
MRP and inventory management
-
Production planning alignment
-
Warehouse management integration
-
Ensure alignment between supply planning and financial impact.
Procure to Pay (P2P)

Configure:
-
Strategic sourcing integration
-
Purchase requisitions and purchase orders
-
Subcontracting
-
Inventory valuation
-
Invoice verification and payment processing
-
Support supplier compliance and controlled material tracking where required.
Finance & Record to Report (R2R)

Lead S/4 Finance configuration including:

General Ledger
-
Cost Center Accounting
-
Internal Orders
-
Project Systems (WBS structures)
-
Asset Accounting
-
Profitability Analysis
-
Support financial consolidation readiness and Central Finance alignment.

Ensure revenue recognition and cost accounting compliance.

Drive integration across OTC, Supply Chain, and P2P.
SAP S/4 & BTP Enablement
-
Partner with SAP BTP teams to enable:

Workflow automation
-
Process extensions
-
API-based integrations
-
Ensure functional design supports cloud extension strategy.
-
Align configuration to side-by-side extension principles.
-
Collaborate on integration strategy across enterprise systems (PLM, MES, reporting tools).
AEM Portal Integration
-
Define functional requirements for SAP S/4 integration with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Portal.

Enable customer and partner self-service capabilities:

Order status tracking
-
Invoice access
-
Contract visibility
-
Ensure secure role-based data exposure aligned with compliance requirements.
Data & Governance

Partner with Data and MDM teams to ensure master data alignment:

Finance master data

Support data cleansing, validation, and cutover readiness.

Maintain documentation traceability and audit readiness.
