Hearst is the UK’s leading premium publisher, home to iconic brands including Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, Men’s Health & Women’s Health and Country Living.

At the centre of this portfolio sits Good Housekeeping — one of the UK’s most trusted consumer brands. Its accreditation and endorsement offering gives brands the ability to leverage decades of testing expertise and consumer trust.

The Role…

We are hiring a commercially astute Business Development Manager to grow and monetise Good Housekeeping Accreditation and endorsements across Hearst’s full brand portfolio.

This is a revenue-owning sales role focused on selling trust at scale.

Hearst operates a 4 hybrid working policy. Four days in the office and one day worked remotely.

Main Duties…

  • A defined category portfolio with clear revenue targets
  • Full 360 sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, closing, renewals and upsell
  • Commercial development of endorsement opportunities across all relevant Hearst brands
  • Senior relationships with senior PR contacts and marketing leads and brand directors at key clients
  • Strategic category growth in partnership with the Accreditation Lead

You are accountable for driving revenue while ensuring endorsement partnerships work seamlessly across editorial, testing and content teams.

What You’ll Be Selling

  • Good Housekeeping Accreditation
  • The right to leverage trusted endorsements across Hearst brands
  • Cross-brand media opportunities within Hearst’s premium portfolio
  • Long-term brand equity and authority

This is consultative selling. You will demonstrate how a trusted accreditation can be embedded into brand positioning, marketing campaigns and multi-brand activity, leading to a sales uplift for clients.

What Success Looks Like

  • Delivery against clear revenue targets
  • Strong renewal rates and expanding client portfolios
  • Cross-brand endorsement activation in bigger media partnerships
  • Category growth driven by proactive pipeline management

About You…

  • A proven commercial performer in media, partnerships, PR or agency environments
  • Confident pitching senior stakeholders and articulating value
  • Strategically minded and comfortable selling multi-brand solutions
  • Motivated by targets and energised by closing
  • Skilled at navigating complex stakeholder environments

An existing network within PR agencies and brand teams is highly desirable.

You understand how to turn trusted media endorsement into commercial advantage across a broader portfolio.
