This position is required to support Maintenance Rate Revisions, Maintenance Changes and Strategic initiatives for multiple Lines of Business within the Property and Casualty Insurance Industry.
Responsibilities:

Works independently on complex projects as assigned

Capable of managing cross-departmental and potentially company- wide projects impacting several business areas or divisions

Identifies and expertly resolves issues

Works independently to plan automated business design opportunities

Translates business needs to process / function and data models
-
Works across departments and consults with IT partners in determining and anticipating customer needs
-
Highly proficient in the use of business analysis tools and methodologies
-
Defines and recommends QA / testing efforts and testing process as it relates to assigned business area
-
Provides project management direction and project status for assigned functional area
-
Responsible for presentation of solutions to upper management

Independently interacts with customers
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 5 years insurance, operations or manual rating experience preferred
-
Associate’s Degree or higher preferred
-
Expertise in Microsoft 365
-
Sound business process and Product knowledge
This role will have a Hybrid work schedule, with the expectation of working in the Hartford, CT office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$64,000 - $96,000
