Introduction: The Ethics & Compliance Lead will join a growing team of professionals supporting the Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Office. The E&C Office is responsible for promoting employee awareness, education and training on our Code of Conduct, corporate policies and general ethical behavior, as well as overseeing and constantly improving a program to assess risks and proactively prevent and detect unlawful/unethical conduct.
We need a candidate with excellent organizational, communication and collaboration skills to partner with us to grow the team. The position is located in our Bangalore, India location, is global in nature with responsibilities covering US, EMEA, and APAC regions, and will report to the Director, Ethics & Compliance.
Essential Responsibilities:

Drive and promote our culture of ethics and compliance across the Company.

Support the E&C Office communications and training plans by:
-
Coordinating and supporting the activities of the site Ethics Network
-
Reviewing, revising, and delivering training materials
-
Coordinating and participating in direct engagement with employee groups via staff meetings, roundtables, etc.
-
Administer the E&C Office’s global risk assessment process, including testing of identified controls and monitoring of corrective actions.
-
Advise on controls, compliance spot checks, testing and monitoring programs to prevent, identify and correct noncompliance in GF’s people, processes and business systems.

Monitor, identify, escalate and report ethics and compliance issues, irregularities, and violations.
-
Support investigations of concerns reported through GF’s whistleblower hotline or otherwise brought to the attention of the E&C Office.

Provide reports to the Director, Ethics & Compliance and others regarding compliance initiatives and risks.

Support in the management of daily operations of the Ethics & Compliance Program including its application to employees and facilities in multiple international jurisdictions.
-
Related duties as required to support the Ethics & Compliance Office.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Travel Requirements:
- This position requires limited domestic travel. International travel is not routine but may be required occasionally, subject to business requirements.
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree.
-
At least 6-7 years of experience in the field of ethics and compliance, fraud examination, internal audit, or a related field.
-
Knowledge of laws, legal codes, procedures, and other relevant authoritative guidance regarding anti-corruption efforts in Asia, the United States, and the EU.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-
Strong planning & organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Master’s Degree and/or LL.B/J.D.
-
Certification
-
CCEP, CCEP-I, LCEP, CIA or CFE.
-
Experience within the semiconductor/manufacturing industries.
-
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
-
Self-starter able to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
-
Experience working collaboratively on cross-functional and cross-divisional teams.
-
Strong personal integrity and aligned personal values.
-
Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
