Description:

Software & Service Finance is looking for a highly motivated, results driven individual that possesses strong analytic and technical skills. This senior analyst will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting fixed cost spend for the software product management organization (SPM).

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate, analyze, evaluate, and present financial results and related performance analysis, including but not limited to fixed costs, staffing/headcount, and functional budget transfers
  • Journal entry preparation / submission and purchase order approvals in SAP
  • Provide effective storytelling and added insights that link financial results and analysis with key enterprise operating strategies and goals
  • Engage in ongoing special projects supporting SPM and business partners
  • Ensure application of appropriate internal controls, SOX compliance, and financial procedures
  • Maintain outstanding relationships with all key stakeholders, proactively anticipating and supporting them with their requirements

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills/ Fundamental knowledge of corporate finance
  • 5+ years of finance analyst or equivalent experience
  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or economics
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles
  • High business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Ability to organize and plan effectively, in ambiguous and continually changing environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal guidance/supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an agile, action oriented, decision-making environment
  • Ability to react to and address urgent requests in a timely, high-quality manner
  • Evidence of strong character and integrity
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Previous FP&A experience

Location: Hybrid. This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Cole Engineering Tech Center
