Summary
The Facilities Leader in Pasadena will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe operation of all facility building systems at our Pasadena location, ensuring a productive and well-maintained environment for all occupants.
Responsibilities
- Manage and direct the daily operations, maintenance, and repair of all facility building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, and building automation systems.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to optimize system performance, extend asset lifespan, and minimize downtime.
- Lead and supervise a team of facilities technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee vendor relationships and contracts for facility-related services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality of service.
- Manage facility budgets, track expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to building codes, safety, and environmental standards.
- Respond promptly to facility emergencies and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with other departments to support their facility needs and planned projects.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of facility maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in managing complex facility building systems.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with all levels of staff and external vendors.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices (e.g., OSHA, NFPA).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CFM, FMP) are a plus.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $94,300 and $150,500. The actual base offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

This includes direct company sponsorship, entry of GM as the immigration employer of record on a government form, and any work authorization requiring a written submission or other immigration support from the company (e.g., H1-B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, J-1, etc.)
This role is categorized as onsite. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location on a full-time basis.
This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
