We are seeking a hands-on Reporting & Analytics Lead to transform complex SaaS business metrics into clear executive-level dashboards, automated corporate reporting, and decision-ready insights. This role combines deep technical execution with strategic reporting design — building scalable reporting frameworks while directly supporting C-suite leaders.
You will operate as a high-impact individual contributor who thrives in evolving environments, works with incomplete requirements, and builds solutions that scale.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You will personally design, build, code, and automate dashboards, data models, and reporting workflows.
What you'll do...
Executive Reporting & Visualization
Personally design and build Power BI data models and dashboards used by executive leadership
Translate evolving SaaS KPIs into decision-ready executive visuals that can be run consistently on a regular frequency for ongoing usage.
Create C-level reporting decks using Excel and PowerPoint, which can be run consistently on a regular frequency for ongoing usage.
Prototype, iterate, and deploy reporting solutions quickly in ambiguous environments
Automation & Reporting Operations
Automate recurring executive reporting cycles
Build and maintain automated reporting workflows (Power BI, Smartsheet, Microsoft tools)
Create reusable reporting templates and scalable automation patterns
Prototype, iterate, and deploy reporting solutions without relying on data engineering or IT
SaaS Metrics & Data Integration
Define and evolve key SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, margin, pipeline, utilization)
Integrate data from SaaS platforms and databases
Normalize data from multiple operational sources
Ensure data accuracy through validation processes, documentation, and governance practices
Align metric definitions with Finance and Operations
Write SQL queries and transformations to integrate SaaS data
Reporting Strategy & Governance
Establish reporting standards and best practices
Reduce dashboard duplication and sprawl
Reduce manual reporting across teams
Leadership & Influence
Partner directly with executives and senior stakeholders
Push back when metrics are unclear or misaligned
Translate data into clear visuals that tell a story which is easily understood and supports executive decision-making.
You'll have...
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Analytics, Industrial or Systems Engineer, or related degree
6+ years of hands-on experience in analytics, BI, or executive reporting roles
Experience in SaaS or high-growth environments
Proven experience personally building Power BI dashboards and data models
Strong SQL skills with direct experience querying and transforming data
Experience automating recurring reporting workflows
Experience working with SaaS business models and metrics
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
Experience with Smartsheet or similar workflow/reporting tools
Comfort working without a large data engineering or BI support team
Ability to present and explain analysis directly to executives

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $112,680-212,760.
