Shift hours: 12-week program starts January 26, 2026 and ends April 17, 2026. 20 hours per week (Monday through Friday) Flexible, consistent, planned work schedule available After 6-8 weeks in program, ability to add up 20 hours for remainder of program to be used for project work; weekend or downtime work Additional hours based upon performance and business needs Pay: $21.00 per hour This position is not eligible for benefits

- Under trainer’s direction o Installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing industrial processing and packaging machinery, work tools and equipment o Identifying and troubleshooting mechanical issues o Providing technical support and plant leadership for equipment troubleshooting and equipment modifications o Understanding, initiating, and participating in Root Cause Analysis (Why, Why) o Performing both uptime and down time preventative maintenance o Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance What your responsibilities will look like: Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain plant compliance with EPA air and wastewater permits.
Provide technical support and plant leadership for equipment, components, or system modifications.
Troubleshoot complex, multi-system problems.
Be able to use common machine shop equipment such as drills, grinders, saw and other common hand tools as may be needed to fulfill your job duties.
Must be able to identify parts and materials needed and estimate labor hours.
Manage time appropriately and be able to prioritize a work order backlog.
Utilize the Maintenance Management Information System (Maximo) to report and complete maintenance work orders.
Assist with training new employees as needed.
Attend meetings and trainings as required.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
What you have to offer: Minimum of a high school education or GED Currently enrolled in 2nd year of Industrial Maintenance Technology degree program Trained in safe use of shop tools and equipment Computer skills including MS Office.
Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 - 100lbs occasionally Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces Must be able to use a hoist and rig pieces of equipment that could weigh up to 300 lbs to remove or replace the equipment Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when required Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions Willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment Need to be able to work in a tobacco-free environment COMPANY OVERVIEW We exist to make food the world loves.
