GE Aerospace Hermosillo is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.
The Manufacturing Engineer drive continuous improvement in manufacturing performance by leading cross-functional projects that improve Safety, increase First-Pass Yield, reduce cycle time, and lower Cost through robust process design, standard work, and data-driven problem solving. Manufacturing Engineer also will provide technical and leadership direction to the shop by developing and standardizing best-in-class manufacturing processes, coaching engineers and operators in structured problem-solving, and ensuring process discipline that supports world-class Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

Job Description

Responsabilities:

Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing performance by leading cross-functional projects that improve Safety, increase First-Pass Yield, reduce cycle time, and lower Cost through robust process design, standard work, and data-driven problem solving. Manufacturing Engineer also will provide technical and leadership direction to the shop by developing and standardizing best-in-class manufacturing processes, coaching engineers and operators in structured problem-solving, and ensuring process discipline that supports world-class Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years in manufacturing/industrial/mechanical engineering or closely related Aerospace field
  • Leading root cause/corrective action on nonconformances, escapes, and chronic defects (APPS, 5-Why, fishbone, 8D, etc.)
  • Developing, validating, and improving manufacturing processes using state of the art technologies
  • Advanced CAD/CAM Programming, modeling and machine environment simulation (NX preferred)
  • Lean / continuous improvement, PFMEA, control plans, capability studies, and basic statistical tools e.g. (Minitab).
  • English Advance

Desired Qualifications

  • Operating CNC machine Machine process monitoring (preferably)
  • Applicability and usage of cutting tools Process industrialization Blueprint interpretation and deployment (GD&T)SPC (Statistical Process Control) tools
