Job Summary

Conoco Phillips Norway is seeking experienced Well Integrity Engineer for their office in Tananger.

Position Overview

Purpose of the role

Responsible engineer for well barriers on production/injection wells operated by Conoco Phillips Norway.

Responsibilities

  • Compliance with regulatory, corporate and business unit requirements

  • Apply and support HSEQ best practices in well operations

  • Support offshore operations to achieve HSEQ & operational performance goals

  • Responsible Well Integrity Engineer for allocated wells/platforms/templates

  • Administrate allocated service contracts (Contract Manager)

  • Mentor, coach and support the development of junior engineers

  • Lessons learned, organizational knowledge management, and experience transfer

  • Analyze test results, investigate and diagnose well barrier issues

  • Provide well integrity technical advice to Operations and Well Operations in planning and execution

  • Evaluate and risk assess non-conformances and notifications for wells

  • Perform well integrity risk-assessments

  • Provide well integrity technical input to cross-functional reviews

  • Evaluate need for – and initiate – well work as needed to restore/optimize well integrity

  • Specify and follow up well maintenance and testing frequency on wells

  • Ensure KPI’s in place to track compliance with requirements

  • Support delivery of reporting to offshore, management, authorities

  • Administrate allocated service contracts and COPNO procedures

  • On-call duty outside office hours as per duty schedule

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree (industry experience may compensate for missing education)

  • Industry experience of minimum 3 years, including experience with Wells / Well Operations

  • Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing

  • Preferred: Proficient in Norwegian, both verbally and in writing
