• Based in our office in Budapest
• Hungary, The EMEA Procurement Specialist will drive the execution of Purchase Orders with our suppliers. The role will entail close alignment with Engineering, Quality and Sourcing functions, as well as other key stakeholders, and will be focusing on Direct materials.

You'll manage dynamic priorities, necessitating minimal guidance, and emphasize effective communication with internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and suppliers.

Job Description:

What you will do (Roles and Responsibilities):

• Executes the follow-up activities of the purchase orders (POs)
• Manages relationships with suppliers for PO execution.
• Manages progress problems and schedule changes.
• Keeps ERP updated with most recent and accurate forecast.
• Ensures smooth supplier payment activities.
• Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience
• Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
• Resolves issues using established procedures and technical expertise.
• Collaborates with Engineering and other stake holders to ensure Quality and On Time Delivery.
• Lead discussions with suppliers during execution in case of claims, PO changes in coordination with the Project.

What you will bring (Required Qualifications):

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Supply Chain/Business/Economy
• Experience: at least junior level of experience in Sourcing/Procurement Or Engineering Or Manufacturing activities.
• Tools: Solid Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc) skills.
• Personality: Self-directed, detail-oriented, organized, and flexible
• Language: Fluent English
• A successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary.

Desired Characteristics (Nice to have):

• Commodities: Experience in Power Plant Commodities
• Tools: Smartsheet
• Education: Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management or in a similar discipline
• Language: French or German Language is an adder
• Industry experience: in the Energy industry / Hydropower projects is a strong plus
• Ability and ownership to drive improvements and change with tangible results.
• Aptitude to work in a global environment and matrix organization.
