What impact you'll make
As a member of the Environmental, Health and Safety team, you will be an active contributor to the Parsippany, NJ manufacturing location. In this role you will work together with the EHS Leader to integrate EHS programs into daily operations to assure regulatory compliance and achieve continuous performance improvement, while meeting EHS performance objectives. In partnership with cross-functional departments, work to develop programs and objectives to achieve these goals in alignment with business goals and values.
Job Description:
- What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field and 2+ years' experience in EHS; OR High School diploma/GED and 6 years of EHS experience.

Must be able to perform the following:

Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting.

Lifting requirements limited to 20 lbs. in the form of supplies, drawings, etc.

Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation.

Occasional need to reach and/or work above and below the shoulder.

Must be alert to equipment in the field.

Occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery.

Occasional need to walk on uneven ground.

What will make you stand out

Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA regulations - process safety management knowledge and experience.

Experience in writing standard operating procedures (SOP) in environmental health and safety.

Process safety management knowledge and experience.

Environmental, Health and Safety certifications preferred (CSP, CIH, CHMM etc.).

Experience with root cause methodology using 5-whys and/or 8D methodology.

Effective written and verbal communicator with strong leadership skills.

Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, engineering and other leadership.

Problem solving mindset with attention to detail.

Change management and employee engagement experience.

Relocation Assistance Provided: No
For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $93,500.00 and $140,300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
