Job Description Summary
The Outage Manager is responsible for the end‑to‑end management of outages within the SP Services APAC organization. This role drives outage planning, execution, and close‑out to ensure safe, high‑quality, and efficient field fulfilment. Working in close coordination with cross‑functional teams, the Outage Manager enforces Standard Work, applies best practices, and integrates lessons learned to deliver reliable results and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Partner with Sales and ITRM to align on customer outage schedules, scopes of work, and development of accurate Job Cost Estimate (JCE).
- Develop comprehensive outage plans, including schedule, resource allocation, EHS requirements, tooling, consumables, supplier coordination and cost management, in alignment with the Standard Work and applicable tools.
- Plan and execute site mobilization and demobilization activities, including support for immigration applications for TFAs.
- Support pre- and post-outage meetings with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and sharing of knowledge and lessons learned.
- Track and manage outage execution performance across EHS (e.g. FME), quality, cost (JCE vs actual), schedule (On-Time Delivery), and productivity to achieve Fulfilment-5 objectives (EHS, Quality, OTD, Cost, Productivity).
- Ensure all required outage documentation (including technical procedures, quality plans, EHS documentation and customer outage reports) is prepared, reviewed, stored and delivered in accordance with Standard Work.
- Assess and manage outage scope, site conditions, safety and execution risks to minimize operational and cost impacts.
- Identify and support opportunities for additional work or service enhancements in collaboration with Sales or ITRM.
- Provide technical and execution support to Sales and ITRM throughout outage identification, tendering, planning and execution phases.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement initiatives by supporting process optimization, standardization and simplification efforts
- Maintain accountability for assigned tasks or projects with a focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the power generation industry.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of steam turbine and generator maintenance, outage planning and execution.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly in support of outage execution and customer engagement.
- Effective communication skill in English (written and verbal).
