Job Description Summary

To strengthen the Project Quality Team at GE Grid Solutions, we are seeking a dedicated Project Quality Manager (m/f/d) for international projects in the field of substations. As a Project Quality Manager in Dresden (Berlin), you will ensure that all quality requirements are implemented in the projects. In close collaboration with the Project Manager and the Project Procurement Lead, you will protect GE’s interests in all quality-related aspects.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP), ensure quality control, and support the Project Manager/Director in all quality-related matters.

• Lead project process audits.

• Manage customer inspections and ensure timely notifications.

• Ensure that defined quality objectives are achieved through measurement, audits, and corrective actions.

• Conduct root cause analyses and support "Lessons Learned" initiatives.

• Participate in project assessments and ensure coverage of quality aspects.

• Ensure compliance with documentation requirements for suppliers and construction sites according to contract and GE requirements.

• Manage project non-conformances, conduct reviews, and track corrective actions.

• Monitor the customer satisfaction process.

Desired Profile & Experience:

• Proven experience in project quality/EPC contract.

• Experience in developing and implementing inspection and test plans for turnkey projects.

• Fluent in German and English.

• University degree and experience in a field related to project activities (quality, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, or project management).

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to influence others.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Focus on compliance and personal integrity.

• Willingness to travel (estimated 15%).
