Position scope includes:
Managing relationship and align strategy with Global Accounting and Finance.
Shaping the Product Driven Organization and the teams progress to and sustainability at Basecamp #2.
Managing the Product Driven Organization in support of changing legal and regulatory landscape.
Personnel management and development for a diverse, global PDO team across US and AP regions
Leveraging suppliers as delivery partners to meet the global demand
Managing multiple vendor partner relationships for COTS packages (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP modules)
Close integration with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Intercompany Accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Plays integration lead role for General Ledger and Periodic Accounting product line to prioritize and deliver the demand
- Establishes direction and guides delivery teams within portfolio
- Ensures product delivery are managed effectively using Agile practices & mindsets
- Ensures that financial targets are met for application and project budgets, including global footprint
- Applies a broad understanding of Ford policies and technology standards to guide solutions/services
- Works together effectively with senior management, business partners, suppliers and internal IT partners
- Responsible for skill development, coaching and counseling for direct reports
Qualifications:
- Set and manage customer expectations
- Strategic thinking to shape future product directions
- Develop, motivate, manage and provide leadership for team members
- Ensure appropriate use of Ford Motor Company IT product management tools, processes, and methodologies
- Identifies risk, assesses impact and executes mitigation plans Identify issues, assesses impact and executes resolution
- At least 10 years of progressive responsibilities within IT
- At least 5 years of Functional knowledge/awareness of General Ledger, Consolidation, and/or Finance associated business processes and applications
- At least 1 year experience within a Product Driven team
- Hands-on experience in multiple roles across the spectrum of the lifecycle of applications and/or technologies
- Prior experience in using Agile delivery methodologies
- Prior experience developing and supporting large, global applications
- Prior experience managing a global team and partnering with suppliers for solution delivery
Preferred Qualifications:
- Large-scale COTS package implementation (ERP focus)
- Scaled Agile (SAFe) experience
- I-ERP System of Delivery experience
- Demonstrated business relationship management skillset
- Strong written and verbal communications, with ability to communicate succinctly with higher levels of leadership
- Finance and Accounting business acumen
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS reporting requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field

This position is leadership level 5 and ranges from $138,240-261,720.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
