You will lead hardware & software programs in a principled way, and by example when the opportunities arise. You will have consummate communications skills, keeping up- and down-stream dependencies well aligned, and all stakeholders well-informed.
You’re as comfortable writing clear and concise content for leadership as you are leading a system design meeting.
You'll have...
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar related technical field
Experience:
-
5+ years working experience in product or feature development on hardware, software, and/or services
-
3+ years working in a technical capacity or working closely with an engineering team
-
Familiarity with modern DevOps tools (ie: JIRA, ADO, etc.)
-
Familiarity with modern software development practices (continuous integration / continuous deployment)
-
Experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines (engineering, product, design, QA, etc.) on high complexity projects throughout the entire product lifecycle
-
Experience in developing control systems for low voltage system and/or electrified powertrain systems, such as high voltage battery control and power conversion ECUs.

- Translate customer requirements into actionable specifications across multiple teams; identify gaps and opportunities
- Define required data sets; analyze and inform impactful decisions for the feature area
- Resolve technical issues; anticipate risk, develop mitigations, lead communications with responsible and stakeholder teams
- Lead retrospectives and continuous improvement through kaizen practices
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and evolving technology practices
