Senior Manager – Business Acceleration (CPG & Retail)

Role Summary

Accelerate growth in CPG & Retail sectors by driving market research, business case development, and solution creation. Translate market signals into actionable insight, build robust financial cases, shape differentiated solutions/assets for our clients in pursuit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build ongoing view of demand spaces, competitive moves, and client buying centers.

  • Own end-to-end business case development including market sizing and ROI modeling.

  • Incubate and mature repeatable solutions aligned to sector strategy and alliances.

  • Partner with Sector, FOP, and Account teams for go-to-market and sales enablement.

  • Orchestrate cross-functional squads and coach team members.

  • Set quarterly OKRs and implement governance for solution adoption and value tracking.

Success Metrics

  • Pipeline influence: $300Mn qualified CPG & Retail pipeline per quarter

  • Win rate uplift: 60% on targeted pursuits

  • Solution adoption: # of field activations and enabled accounts

Qualifications

  • 12-15 years in consulting/strategy with deep CPG/Retail exposure around core sector functions like Revenue Growth Management, Point of Sale, Store Operations, Merchandizing, Trade Promotions, Direct-to-Consumer, New Product Introduction and Customer/Product/Channel analytics

  • Strong financial modeling, market analytics, and storytelling skills.

  • Experience with major alliances (SAP, Microsoft, Service Now) and Fields of Play including Supply Chain/Manufacturing, Finance, HR, Customer and Growth platforms.

  • Comfort in matrixed environments and demonstrated people leadership.

  • MBA or equivalent preferred; Engineering/Finance background a bonus.
