Assistant Business Manager – Financial Services (Consulting)
Role Overview
The Assistant Business Manager will work directly under the Financial Services (FS) Business Manager, supporting him in the operational, strategic, and administrative management of the FS practice across sectors including WAM, INS and BCM.
This role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working closely with FS leaders and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities

Support to FS Business Manager
-
Assist the FS Business Manager in all day-to-day sector management activities.

Prepare sector updates, follow-ups, and trackers for leadership routines.

Coordinate with account teams to gather data for reporting, reviews, and sector insights.

Reporting & Analytics
-
Help prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual performance reports for FS.
-
Consolidate reporting across WAM, INS, and BCM teams.
-
Maintain dashboards, summaries, and periodic business insights as required.

RFI, Proposal & Knowledge Support
-
Assist with Requests for Information (RFIs) and inputs for proposal submissions.
-
Maintain a central repository of capability decks, case studies, credentials, proposal responses, and other FS assets.
-
Conduct desktop research on market trends, sector developments, competitive landscape, and regulatory updates.

Event Coordination & Engagement
-
Assist in organizing and executing FS townhalls, leadership visits, sector events, client interactions, and internal connects.

Support the planning of offsite meetings, including agenda creation and logistics.

Help drive team building activities and CSR initiatives across FS.
Required Skills & Experience
Functional Skills
-
Good understanding of Financial Services sectors (WAM/INS/BCM preferred).

Strong business reporting, analytics, and presentation skills.
-
Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously with strong follow-through.

Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data handling.
Behavioral Skills

Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently under guidance.

Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications

7–10 years of experience in business management, consulting, analytics, operations, or similar roles.

Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
