Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for Apprentice Vehicle Techs at our state-of-the-art Service Center in Chelsea, MA This temporary role allows employees to gain hand's on experience with performing light maintenance, Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) and conducting the in-fleeting process according to procedures on our fleet of late model rental vehicles - no customer interaction involved.
This unique position through the Registered Apprentice Program is available to current students enrolled in an Automotive Technology program through Franklin Cummings Tech! This position is designed compliment school courses and provide shop experience to students as they complete their second year of college.
The position offers the opportunity to grow and strengthen your skill set, while also having the opportunity to earn a full-time employment offer along with promotion and pay increases into our Maintenance and Auto Tech/Mechanic positions at the same location!
This position offers hourly pay (not flat rate) of $20 / hour with increases based upon shop experience and hours completed. This position offers a consistent schedule of 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Perform in-fleet servicing on new vehicles according to company required procedures and utilizing the delivery checklist

Inspect new vehicle deliveries from transporter for damages and/or missing parts and complete the delivery receipt as required by the manufacturer

Performing light maintenance on vehicles in fleet and general lot maintenance

Responsible for prepping and inspection of new car stock, installing new units, labeling units with VIN stickers and key tags.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must be a current student enrolled in an Automotive Technology program through Franklin Cummings Tech with an anticipated completion date in Spring 2027.

Basic mechanical experience required to perform light maintenance activities.

Must have valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years.

No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past five years (DUI/DWI).

Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
