The Sr Data Scientist serves as a senior individual contributor designing and executing complex data science and advanced analytics initiatives. This role applies data mining architectures, advanced statistical methodologies, and machine learning techniques to solve complex, multi-domain business problems and deliver actionable insights. The Sr Data Scientist researches and applies emerging data science, AI, and ML techniques and partners closely with data engineers, AI/ML engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to design and implement scalable analytical solutions with measurable business impact.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Design and implement advanced analytical and machine learning solutions for complex business problems.

  • Select and adapt appropriate data science techniques, models, and architectures.

  • Lead execution of complex data-driven projects from analysis through deployment.

  • Develop and implement end-to-end data pipelines and machine learning models.

  • Evaluate and integrate third-party and open-source tools and technologies.

  • Provide technical guidance to other data scientists.

  • Communicate complex insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

  • Contribute to data, analytics, and AI security guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of professional experience applying data science, advanced analytics, and machine learning techniques.

  • Demonstrated experience creating data mining architectures and advanced analytical models.

  • Direct experience delivering AI/ML solutions in production.

  • Experience with Generative AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics.

  • Strong experience with Python, R, and SQL.

  • Experience with cloud-based data and analytics platforms.

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, or Power BI.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate insights into business value.
