Based in our Cranberry Township, PA office the Sr.Proposal Engineer will be part of the Lifecycle Proposals team and will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to develop Ovation solutions for customers across North America. You will also assist with leading & mentoring our proposals process & application team by supporting our Ovation Advantage program (providing solutions in control modernization, control subsystem replacements, and ancillary systems integration).

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:- Develop clear, accurate technical proposals based on customer needs, requirements, and specifications.

• Have extensive knowledge of various plant applications within the power and/or water industries.

• Provide leadership support to the proposal team, including coaching, knowledge sharing, and process guidance.

• Continually expand knowledge of Ovation products, services, and support offerings.

• Expand your knowledge of Emerson products, services, and support offerings to deliver high‑value, customer‑centric proposals.

• Work effectively with the Regional/Project Engineering teams to develop complete solutions utilizing Emerson products and services

• Coordinate and participate in customer meetings to clarify scope, share expertise, and present solution recommendations.

• Collaborate with other Emerson departments to drive solutions and provide support.

• Review customer orders to ensure alignment with proposed scope and prepare documentation for order entry.

For This Role, You Will Need:- BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of seven (7) years of related experience.
• Familiarity or experience with process automation systems or industrial control systems.
• Experience applying technical knowledge within complex industrial or automation environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and adapt in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong initiative and a drive to deliver high‑quality results.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
• Ability to travel up to 5%.
