If you are an Electrical Test Engineer, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for an Electrical Engineer responsible for test electrical circuit, software and system. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Test, analysis and optimize electronic circuits according to existing Hardware and Software.

• Transmitter system and function test including validation, reliability, approval etc.

• Develop engineering test specifications and design validation test plans. Participate in design reviews. Perform engineering validation testing.

• Component management include EOL management, 2nd source development etc.

• Provide technical support to the other departments in the company.

• Through CIP, always strive to comply with all systems in everything we do everyday; having Think-Customer in mind.

• Complete other job assigned by Supervisor/manager.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• The ideal candidate will have test experience with switch mode power supplies, microprocessor and DSP based embedded systems, analog and digital I/Os, A/D converters, graphics LCDs and controllers.

• 1-3 years of test experience of industrial products used in hazardous area applications.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Must be proficient using various lab instruments: Scopes, Logic Analyzers, Multi-meters, Environmental test chambers.

• Ability to write reports in English.

• Analog/Digital knowledge, including switch mode power supply topologies.

• Knowledge of regional environmental and regulatory compliance standards.
